Project 2

This is a scene from a group project called Mirror. I am doing a scene in which pieces of a broken mirror fall in the ocean and react with the ocean surface, which has waves and the typical traits of an ocean.

Class 6

I came to class with a dynamic simulation of a teapot falling into a liquid container within Houdini. I can adjust surface tension of the water as well as the splash emitted from the teapot. It was reasoned at the end of class that I would need to have some development for the potential surface of the water done for Class 7

Class 7

I have another test animation done as far as the displacement and shading of the ocean's surface. It is my next challenge to get the surface onto the liquid container's surface, and react with the RBD objects..

Class 8

Here are some lighting tests, as well as the newest dynamic simulation with the displacement shader attatched to the fluid volume. I beleive with better camera framing, an animated offset on the displacement, and the right mirror pieces, some serious tests can be done.
