Project 1


      This is a project that I am revisiting from a previous class. I was not completely happy with the end results, so I am reworking the project to make a demo-reel piece with a breakdown. This page will serve as an outline, class by class, on what my improvements are and where I am with the project.

Class 1

Here is the original piece.

It was agreed to improve the model, collision geometry and edges of fluids.

It was agreed upon at the end of class 2 that I would be resposible for:
      1. adding some measurement markings (texture) on the side of the beaker
      2. adjusting the blown out lighting
      3. adding countertop texture
      4. motion test of new collision

Class 3

I updated all of the textures in the scene. Added new geometry to the backdrop. Changed the lighting scheme as well.

I am still having some problems with the on glass textures, refractions seem to work fine, but here is the source texture
